VistaCam Digital pressure sensitive release

Image communication in the surgery has now been considerably simplified: No more costly and difficult-to-install boxes, stations, foot pedals or additional PC cards.

Instead, digital video images are now transferred loss-free by the Dürr VistaCam Digital. The results are brilliant: Precise, noise-free rendition of the most minuscule structures on the monitor, including freeze-frames, thanks to the loss free image transmission. Pixel-free representation of intraoral and extraoral tooth situations through the sophisticated Dürr IFC optics - nearly completely free of distortions in magnifications of  up to 100. Bright representation with high colour fidelity up to the molars thanks to the LED lighting in the tip of the camera and a light-sensitive CCD chip. Plug & Play via USB 2.0 - simple and cost-efficient installation at the PC or laptop, without basis station or framegrabber card. At the same time, the new integrated manual release now replaces the additional foot pedal.

Ergonomic actuation by handThe VistaCam Digital is equipped with a 360˚control sensor, enabling the perfect use of the functions Still/Live and Save in all scanning situations. Even in the molar range of the upper jaw, this intraoral camera saves images without shaking with an excellent quality. The operator twists the camera, not the hand: Slight pressure on the 360˚sensor freezes the image, a stronger pressure saves it. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adapted individually to each operator.

The cable-operated camera has a USB plug with an additional power supply. The separate power supply does not require PCs conforming to MPG guidelines. Integration into workstations will thus present no problems nor consequently will upgrading of existing treatment units in accordance with MPG.
